Our house, in the middle of our street...
As Nigel Cook and Mike Knowles recently wrote on Linkedin:
"SCR Air are 'Homeward Bound' and definitely 'Movin' On Up' to a "very big house in the country" with the company's relocation to new premises.
The warehouse may be large enough to have an echo (at present!), but it'll allow us to vastly increase our stock of air compressors and consumables as well as spares.
Complete with bucolic barn offices we've also created dedicated training rooms where we'll train and inform engineers about the latest hi-tech developments in the SCR world.
And the workshop! Did we mention the state-of-the-art workshop?
Fully kitted out it contains all the tools necessary to revivify any air compressor.
So, from July 1st, it'll literally be a case of 'Take Me Home Country Roads'."
Having now moved in, the extensive warehouse (located in Tenbury Wells, Worcestershire) is rapidly being filled with a variety of energy-efficient air compressors, spare parts and consumables. This will make for a seamless supply for SCR Air's valued network of UK distributors, enabling the end customer to have access to a warehouse full of parts which are essential to keep their business running.
The extra room has also allowed for a much planned dedicated training area. Here courses will be held in both the technical and the sales aspects of SCR air compressors ...although the compressors do tend to sell themselves.
And what makes the new move all the more exciting - and rewarding- is the fact that 2024 sees SCR celebrating their 10th anniversary. A good age to move to somewhere they can really stretch their legs!
