It’s time to finally ‘raise the curtain’ on our latest turnkey solution!
We have just completed the full fit-out of a container with an SCR25EPM industrial air compressor, MKE 210 refrigerated air dryer, 720L vertical air receiver, and carbon tower, along with a comprehensive electrical system.
This solution is now commissioned and ready for deployment to create an effective bubble curtain at a busy Scottish harbour.
The bubble curtain technology works by injecting compressed air through a perforated pipe on the seabed, forming a rising wall of bubbles. This barrier disrupts fish movement patterns without harming them, effectively stopping fish from entering the harbour where they could be at risk from ships and infrastructure.
This project highlights our, the harbour's and SCR’s dedication to innovative, eco-friendly solutions that support both maritime operations and the conservation and preservation of marine biodiversity. It's a perfect example of how advanced compressed air systems can make a real difference in environmental protection.
Huge thanks to our skilled technicians and engineers who made this possible. We’re looking forward to seeing it in action!
Now the aquatic inhabitants will be forever seeing pretty bubbles in their ‘air’.
Although this bubble curtain setup is for a Scottish harbour, similar or bespoke units for any nationwide aquatic environment can be supplied.
