You may have heard...there have been pictures...we've been in the press...and on social media...
The three companies which form the EDC group (yes, EDC Air Compressors along with our sister companies of EDC Scotland and EDC North East) have become an Employee Ownership Trust - EOT.
All shares in the company have been sold to a trust which holds them on behalf of the employees. So actually, it's a part owner writing this!
"But" we hear you say "As a customer, what's going to change for me?" Well, we like to think we've always delivered on customer service, price and expertise, but now every employee has a stake in the three businesses. So, no matter who you speak to, from whichever company, you're one of THEIR customers. And we want you to be happy, because that's the whole ethos of EDC, and it's what the EOT will allow to continue.
