This blowers and drives install at a wastewater treatment plant involved all four of the above. Employing world-renowned, powerful and robust Robuschi blowers, ABB inverters and the combined installation expertise of EDC Air Compressors and EDC drives, the project was soon delivered and made operational. The new units are expected to provide energysavings of around £30,000 per annum (3 x 90kW PD blowers have now been replaced with 1 x 110kW screw blower). The payback time is expected to be 16 months.
